At Fort Austin (41339 CO Highway 133 Paonia, CO), our nuptials will begin at 5:30, a reception will follow. Parking should be self-explanatory at arrival.

Feel free to check out our travel page on this website. We recommend staying at Fort Austin, local AirBnB's, the Bross Hotel, or Wisehart Inn. There are also numerous gorgeous campsites nearby.

If you are flying in, we highly recommend a rental car. Our location is rural and a car will be necessary to get to the wedding venue, restaurants, and other places you might like to travel to. You are welcome to park at the event space.

Come as you are! We hope that you're comfortable. Please be prepared for any shifts in weather. As they say, you can experience all seasons in Colorado within the same day. Our wedding will be under a canopy and we expect that it will be dry, but as you know, Mother Nature has her own plans for the day.

Q. Are children allowed? A. Absolutely yes! Q. Will there be vegetarian options? Gluten-free? Vegan? A. Yes, we are here to accommodate everyone. We can't promise no cross contamination for GF except for our wedding cake. Q. Can I bring a gift to your wedding? A. Sure! Q. Are there any pre-wedding events? A. We will be planning a big hike for out of town guests and a lunch. We are having a dinner for immediate family on Friday May 31. Saturday morning, ladies will be getting ready at the location venue with (faux) mimosas, music and yoga. If you feel called to join any of this, please reach out! Q. Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony? A. Photos, yes! Videos, Bennett and I are incredibly shy... Q. What time should I arrive at the venue? A. We suggest arriving at 5:00 or so, as parking could be a bit of a slow process and it will take some a minute to walk up the small incline to our ceremony spot. Q. Will there be music or dancing at your reception? A. We hope so! We will have a local artist play guitar and fiddle. We will also play some music on our speakers.
